They Are Billions: Mission 07 - The Coast of Bones

The Coast of Bones is one of the missions in They Are Billions campaign. This is the longest mission so far and the first one in which you will end up defending against the horde coming from all sides. In this chapter, you will find a walkthrough and tips related to The Coast of Bones mission.

How to unlock and goals

How to start: unlocked after completing The Crossroads mission

Mission objective:

1. Destroy all infected.
2. Colony population: 800.
3. Survive the attacks of all hordes.
4. Special properties of the map: Rich fishing (+30% food received from Fisherman Cottage).

The mission

1. Start with building 3 Tents, a Fisherman Cottage and a Hunter Cottage. Then, place 2 more Tents and a Sawmill. Use the remaining gold to build more Tents.
2. Send units to clear areas east of the starting location.

First of all, expand the base to the east, towards the stone deposits.

1. Start expanding to the east - there, you will find stone deposits. Place a Quarry on them. Then, expand the base to the north to build another Sawmill.
2. Don't forget to build new Fisherman Cottages regularly - they produce 30% more food on this map.
3. Start building defensive walls around day 4 - at this point, single enemies will start attacking your base. Among them, you will find runners that can instantly infect several buildings.

When you create a few extra units, start clearing the map of large groups of enemies.

1. When you create a few extra units, destroy the infected buildings of the Village of Doom, located north of the launch site, and build a Quarry there to get the iron.
2. In the meantime, build a Wooden Workshop and start inventing new technologies, including a Stone House, and start to improve the Tent.

The first horde will consist of about 100 enemy units.

1. Around day 15, build a solid double wall in the north and start mass recruitment of units. On the 19th day, the first horde will appear. It will consist of more than 100 units.
2. In the following days, continue to expand, increase the population and recruit new units.
3. Another horde arrives on day 32. The final horde will attack you on day 48. The final horde will attack you from the east and west at the same time.

Complete this mission to unlock Cape Storm mission and another Infected Swarm.

Tips

During the final horde, your base will be attacked from east and west.

Below we present a few tips related to Coast of Bones mission:

1. Start defending the base on day 3-4 onward - from that moment, your base will start getting attacked by single enemies. Some of them will be runners who are able to infect the colony in a few seconds.
2. During the final horde on day 48, your base will be attacked from the east and west - establish the appropriate fortifications in these places and recruit a few dozen units, preferably Soldiers.
3. Don't forget to build Fisherman Cottages - they give 30% more food on this map, which is very important as you have to reach 800 population.
