An unconventional action game developed by the American iNKstories studio, focused on The Iranian Revolution - the events of 1979 that led to the overthrow of the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Iran. 1979 Revolution is set in an open-world environment, reminiscent of subsequent installments in the Grand Theft Auto series. During the game we are given a chance to play as several independent characters, and it was the intention of the developer to present historical events from several contrasting points of view and to show moral controversy concerning the ongoing revolution. Depending on which character we control at the moment, the game features slightly different mechanics. This is due to the fact that some protagonists led by us specialize in combat, while others have to rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trade.

SpaceVenture is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Two Guys From Andromeda. The studio is lead by Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, creators of the first four installments of the fan-favourite Space Quest series. The game's scenario is filled with comedy and a specific sense of humor. SpaceVenture takes place in a distant future when the colonization of space is very common and not problematic at all. Gameplay focuses on exploration, gathering items, talking with various characters, and solving more or less complicated puzzles and riddles.

A point-and-click adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The title was developed by Wadjet Eye, a studio renowned for The Blackwell Legacy game series. The action takes place in an unspecified time in the future, where the human civilization was decimated in the aftermath of a nuclear war. You assume the role of a young woman that becomes infected with a deadly virus. She decides to take up work for the hated, authoritarian government, as it is the only way to participate in a lottery, in which the winner is awarded with a vaccine for all the mortal illnesses that plague humanity after the war. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Shardlight a classic adventure game focusing on exploration, dialogues, collecting items, and solving puzzles that test not only your perception, but also intelligence.

A detective adventure game from the visual novel genre. It was developed by Japan studio Spike Chunsoft. The main protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Naegi Makoto, is a teenager who starts his education in an elite high school. In contrast to his colleagues, he has no remarkable achievements and he was accepted to the school by winning a lottery. Soon after the school year starts, Makoto and a group of other students are trapped inside the school building and a digitally-controlled mascot informs them that, in order to escape from the trap, one of them must murder someone else in such way that it will be impossible to find out who is guilty. The game is divided into three separate phases. First the player speaks with selected students, builds relations and learns interesting facts. When the murder happens, the player is tasked with gathering evidence and testimonies. Finally the action moves to a court room where during a trial one must find out who the murderer is through a series of minigames.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

A sequel to the detective adventure visual novel released in 2010 by Spike Chunsoft. In Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair the player assumes the role of a completely new protagonist named Hajime Hinata. He is accepted to an elite high school despite the fact that he cannot remember what he did to earn that honor. During one of the school trips the class of the protagonist is imprisoned on a tropical island. In order to escape, the students must murder one of their friends and avoid being caught by their colleagues. The gameplay mechanics are based on the same principles as the original game and they are split into three separate phases, in which one must first participate in conversations, then gather testimonies and evidence in the murder case, and finally go to a trial and type the murderer.

A science-fiction TPP action game that depicts a vision of mankind’s future and its possible fall. The title is a joint work of Comcept – a studio that co-created MegaMan, founded by Keiji Inafune, an ex-employee of Capcom – and Armature Studio, which hires the creators of the Metroid Prime series. In Recore you play as a girl named Jewel, who is one of the last representatives of the human race. She traverses the post-apocalyptic world ruled by a faction of robots who stand against the idea of repopulating the Earth with humans. Gameplay focuses on exploration and combat, in which the protagonist can count on support from her mechanical friend called Mack. The key feature of Recore is the ability to transfer the robot’s core into another body, through which he gains new skills, while retaining his identity. A noteworthy thing is the dynamic environment, which is constantly changing due to sandstorms raging across the planet.

A continuation of the warmly-received spin-off of the Tomb Raider series in which adventures of beautiful archaeologist are seen from the isometric view, which is unusual for the series. The game is once again developed by Crystal Dynamics and this time the action takes us to Egypt, where you will visit the titular Temple of Osiris as well as some other places. Mechanics have not changed – complemented with characteristic elements of the Tomb Raider series, like exploration and solving puzzles, combat and arcade aspects are emphasized. Gameplay concentrates on cooperation, offering, apart from Lara, three other playable characters of various classes and skills. Interestingly, depending on the number of players, gameplay will be different. More players means more puzzles and more enemies. As the game debuted on the new generation of consoles, visuals are stunning.

However, he has gained an extraordinary ability to go back in time a moment before committing the crime. In subsequent episodes of the game, the hero uses his skills to solve various criminal puzzles.

A survival horror game with a top down view. Darkwood is the first commercial project of a Polish studio, Acid Wizard, and its development has been backed up by users voting on the Steam Greenlight platform. The game takes place in a procedurally generated open world, with the player placed in the role of a character trying to survive the confrontations with supernatural beings without losing his sanity in the eponymous dark wood. During a day, the protagonist must find or construct items, which will help him fend off evil entities at night. The gameplay is relatively difficult, combining features of an action game, adventure game, and a cRPG. Simple, two-dimensional visuals are dominated by semidarkness and dark shapes, and the terrifying atmosphere is further bolstered with disturbing audio.

Developers from the Retro studio also took care of the implementation of the Wii Remote controller, as well as a set of additional materials related to the Metroid series.
