A point-and-click adventure game created by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick. The players are taken to the titular Thimbleweed Park - once a prosperous business area, now definitely past its prime. The player takes on the roles of five characters in total throughout this adventure and is capable of switching between them at any time. The characters present are a stronger feature of this game - apart from others, the player assumes the role of Ransome - a clown suffering from a curse which makes him unable to get rid of his stage make-up. Franklin is another of the characters the player will be in control of in this game; one day, he (Franklin) discovers that he has died. The player will also assume control of two detectives investigating a case of a body found nearby; Dolores on the other hand, needs to read the testament of her rich uncle. When it comes to the story, the creators mixed a unique taste in humor with different possible endings. All of this is complemented by visuals modeled after LucasArts' classics, as well as an interface resembling the legendary SCUMM system.

An unconventional action game developed by the American iNKstories studio, focused on The Iranian Revolution - the events of 1979 that led to the overthrow of the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Iran. 1979 Revolution is set in an open-world environment, reminiscent of subsequent installments in the Grand Theft Auto series. During the game we are given a chance to play as several independent characters, and it was the intention of the developer to present historical events from several contrasting points of view and to show moral controversy concerning the ongoing revolution. Depending on which character we control at the moment, the game features slightly different mechanics. This is due to the fact that some protagonists led by us specialize in combat, while others have to rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trade.

The debut game by indie studio Mr. Whale's Game Service, designed with the single player mode in mind. The production is set in a ruined world, which you traverse in an unusual vehicle resembling a combination of a boat and a train. The gameplay in Far: Lone Sails focuses on exploring locations in search of items, which allow you to survive. However, instead of seeking food or building shelters, you have to take care of your vessel. You need fuel to drive it, parts to maintain it, and upgrades, which unlock previously unavailable destinations. Far: Lone Sails features minimalist, artistic visuals and a fitting soundtrack, which creates an appropriate atmosphere.

The title is a joint work of Comcept – a studio that co-created MegaMan, founded by Keiji Inafune, an ex-employee of Capcom – and Armature Studio, which hires the creators of the Metroid Prime series. In Recore you play as a girl named Jewel, who is one of the last representatives of the human race. She traverses the post-apocalyptic world ruled by a faction of robots who stand against the idea of repopulating the Earth with humans. Gameplay focuses on exploration and combat, in which the protagonist can count on support from her mechanical friend called Mack. The key feature of Recore is the ability to transfer the robot’s core into another body, through which he gains new skills, while retaining his identity. A noteworthy thing is the dynamic environment, which is constantly changing due to sandstorms raging across the planet.

A detective adventure game from the visual novel genre. It was developed by Japan studio Spike Chunsoft. The main protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Naegi Makoto, is a teenager who starts his education in an elite high school. In contrast to his colleagues, he has no remarkable achievements and he was accepted to the school by winning a lottery. Soon after the school year starts, Makoto and a group of other students are trapped inside the school building and a digitally-controlled mascot informs them that, in order to escape from the trap, one of them must murder someone else in such way that it will be impossible to find out who is guilty. The game is divided into three separate phases. First the player speaks with selected students, builds relations and learns interesting facts. When the murder happens, the player is tasked with gathering evidence and testimonies. Finally the action moves to a court room where during a trial one must find out who the murderer is through a series of minigames.

An extraordinary point-and-click adventure game and a spiritual successor to the legendary The Neverhood, a game developed in 1996 by Doug TenNapel. This new title was created by the author of the original game, who managed to gather nearly entire old staff back together for this project. The story tells of the adventures of a likeable alien named Tommynaut, who survives a spacecraft crash and finds himself on a strange planet, where together with his companion, dog Beak-Beak, the hero gets captured and locked in the titular stronghold of Armikrog. What distinguishes the game, is its unique artwork – in-game locations and character models were made of plasticine and brought to life using time-lapse technique. This time-consuming work was done by a number of puppeteers, animators, and sculptors. Thanks to their work, the developers managed to recreate the unique atmosphere of the original game, which, apart from interesting story and a cast of likeable characters, offered a large doze of wacky humor.

When it comes to mechanics, the title is a third-person perspective adventure game with action elements, focusing mainly on exploration and puzzle solving; however,a huge emphasis was placed on conversations with encountered characters. Aside from that, the game contains numerous arcade sections, including spectacular shootouts and car chases.

Harold Halibut is a science fiction adventure game, which stands out from similar games due to its hand-crafted visuals. The developers - members of the German studio Slow Bros - have created all the elements of the in-game world from wood, metal, gum, and other materials. Moreover, they have transferred physical props into the virtual environment with photogrammetry software. This allowed them to combine the puppets and the locations, as if they were taken directly from stop-motion animation with the 3D graphics technologies, such as lighting effects. This process has resulted in a unique atmosphere of the game. The story revolves around the titular Harold Halibut, a cleaner and a conservator aboard a giant spaceship stranded in the depths of an alien ocean. In between his regular responsibilities, Harold helps the scientists from the ship's research department. The chief scientist is trying to find a way to restart the ship's engines in order to leave the planet.

The locations are colorful, varied, and fully three-dimensional.

Phantaruk takes place in the distant future, when the idea of transhumanism is about to become reality, as humanity is striving to create a person with no biological limitations. You find yourself aboard a spaceship, which is also a secret research facility. It turns out that the vessel is in fact an abandoned death trap, haunted by a mythical beast—the eponymous Phantaruk, who kills everyone in its path. The gameplay is focused mostly on exploration and building up the atmosphere, while your objective is to find a way to escape the ship. The task is made all the more difficult because of a mysterious parasite living in the player character's body and gradually poisoning it. This fact forces you to constantly monitor your character's parameters and search for poison-neutralizing pills.

During one of the school trips the class of the protagonist is imprisoned on a tropical island. In order to escape, the students must murder one of their friends and avoid being caught by their colleagues. The gameplay mechanics are based on the same principles as the original game and they are split into three separate phases, in which one must first participate in conversations, then gather testimonies and evidence in the murder case, and finally go to a trial and type the murderer.
