Battle Breakers (iOS)
A free-to-play tactical role playing game with microtransactions, developed by Epic Games, the award-winning authors known from numerous cult-classic AAA series. Battle Breakers introduces us to a universe mixing fantasy and science-fiction elements. This unique realm is invaded by bloodthirsty aliens – our job is to repel the invasion by leading a group of powerful heroes. The players can choose from a multitude of characters, including dinosaurs, robots, ninjas, mages, or melee fighters. During the game, the players explore the map and clear the subsequent regions from monsters and occasional bosses. The encounters are turn-based, and take place on a map divided into hexagonal fields. Our heroes often employ elemental spells, which include powerful tsunamis, earthquakes, or great fires. The game is definitely characteristic for its huge roster of heroes – we can choose from a few hundred characters, each armed with unique abilities and an exclusive skill tree. Moreover, the player can expand the tower that serves as the heroes’ dwelling in order to gain additional bonuses.
Firefly Online (iOS)
Firefly Online is a cRPG game with many elements of strategy and MMO titles, which was created on the basis of the science fiction series entitled Firefly. We play the role of the captain of the spacecraft, gather the crew and set off to explore the interstellar space.

A turn-based RPG game for mobile devices (Android/iOS), inspired on the popular Pokemon series. Duel Revolution employs a free-to-play distribution model with optional microtransactions. The game takes place in an alternative version of modern world which is filled with paranormal beings. Fantasy creatures are a regular thing there and they can be caught and tamed. It is the main objective of the player, who assumes the role of a monster trainer. He must train the creatures and then make them fight with creatures trained by his rivals. In Duel Revolution it is possible to freely explore a world filled with interesting characters and missions. Completing them, similarly as winning battles, is awarded with experience points. These can be used for developing the monsters, of which there are more than 100 types. An interesting addition is the possibility to combine several species into a one, powerful hybrid. In addition to solo mode the developers from Prodigious Works prepared a competitive multiplayer mode.
The Legend of Bum-Bo (iOS)
The game mixes elements of turn-based RPGs with mechanics borrowed from match-3 titles. The player takes on the role of the titular character (appeared already in The Binding of Isaac) and the action takes place in cardboard boxes. The protagonist fights enemies and takes their money away. The game was presented using a grotesque graphic style and the experience is complemented by a portion of unusual black humor.
Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians (iOS)
A tactical Japanese RPG developed by a team led by Yasumi Matsuno, the creator of such classic games as Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, and Vagrant Story. The action of Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians is set in a fantastical world torn by wars. The campaign tells us the story of the 70-year-long war, the direction of which has been set by the long forgotten warriors. The player assumes the role of one of those warriors. The campaign is divided into two separate chapters, each one presenting a story of a different character. Some tales show only a year from the hero’s life, while others depict even decades. Because of this approach, the players can observe the conflict from multiple perspectives as well as learn the course of events and the stories of people participating in the war. The gameplay revolves around turn-based battles waged on 3D maps. During combat, the player commands a team comprising two heroes, each one featuring a unique set of skills and roles. As the story progresses, the character gains more experience and grows stronger.

Metal Slug Infinity (iOS)
A two-dimensional RPG that belongs to the idle sub-genre, that requires a minimum input from the user. Production is a spin-off of a popular series of Metal Slug platformers, which debuted on slot machines and consoles in the 90s. The Korean studio ekkorr is responsible for the development of this title.
Yo-kai Watch (iOS)
A turn-based RPG developed by the experienced Japanese studio Level 5. The game was inspired by the popular series of Pokemon games. In Yo-Kai Watch the player assumes the role of a young boy who receives a magic watch from a mysterious creature. The watch allows him to see the title yokai, sympathetic ghosts that live in the world. The protagonist is tasked with helping various people, but other, less friendly yokai are trying to prevent him from doing that. Whenever he encounters one of them, he must fight with the ghost. If he wins, he can befriend the creature and use his special abilities later in the game. The game utilizes the special features of 3DS console. While exploring the world and fighting many actions are performed by drawing specific gestures on the touch screen.
Dragon Fin Soup: Extra Chunky (iOS)
A debut project from Grim Bros studio. Dragon Fin Soup is a turn-based RPG influenced by the Japanese variations of the genre. The plot takes place in a fantasy world, located on top of an enormous turtle-dragon called Asura. During the gameplay, we assume the role of an alcohol-adoring heroine named Robin, who is a twisted and adult version of Red Riding Hood. The protagonist had lost her memory a year earlier, with the players helping her retrieve her lost memories. Dragon Fin Soup offers two game modes: story campaign and survival, in the latter we begin the game in the middle of the woods, and our goal is to break through consecutive, increasingly difficult locations and dungeons. The game incorporates a turn-based combat system with a lot of tactical depth, including, among others, different types of damage dealt by different weapons and spells. The gameplay is diversified by logic puzzles and arcade mini-games.
A mobile RPG game based on the free-to-play business model. Netrunner takes us to the cyberpunk universe of the tabletop game Android: Netrunner. Players act as hackers, who steal the classified data of powerful companies. This takes place in virtual reality that is so closely connected to users’ brains that the most effective defense systems can turn an unfortunate hacker into vegetable. The game greatly focuses on plot, created under the lead of Meg Jayanth, known as the creator of the story for the adventure game 80 Days. As we take part in hacking missions, we also explore real world – both planes are shown from isometric view, but offer different style and challenges. Fights take place in real time and resemble those from arcade action RPG titles. In cyberspace, there are strategic features, due to the necessity of selecting proper programs. We also gather experience used to develop our hero.

Continuation of the warmly acclaimed action RPG game, in which we find ourselves in a fantastic land inhabited by animals. In Cat Quest II: The Lupus Empire, we once again travel the vast world and perform a variety of tasks while facing increasingly powerful adversaries.
The Snack World: Trejarers (iOS)
A role-playing game by Level 5 for mobile devices and Nintendo 3DS. Snack World is set in a fantasy realm, and you play as a young boy called Chup, who wants to exact revenge on the invaders that burned his family village to the ground. Fortunately, Chup is not alone — he is accompanied by his friends, Mayone and Pepperon. The game utilizes an isometric view and the gameplay focuses on exploration and collecting various items. Interestingly, your equipment is grouped by brand — it concerns blade weapons, shields, clothes, and jewelry, which are marked by fictional brand logos, such as Detton, Qloris or Fairy Electroncis. Moreover, they can be bought in the real world and then transferred to the in-game universe by NFC. Snack World features high-quality cartoonish visuals, clearly inspired by manga and anime.
A mobile action RPG from King.com, the creators of a series of casual puzzle games. The story is only an excuse for the gameplay, and it takes place in fantasy land of Mystia. When it’s invaded by monsters, the titular hero has to, unsurprisingly, to save the world. Hero is a classic hack’n’slash title, so we explore locations and eliminate hordes of enemies. Players can choose from several characters, including mage, knight or archer, each with slightly different fighting style, and a progression system typical for this genre. Due to its mobile nature, each adventure is relatively short, though we are always accompanied by an AI-controlled ally. The game stands out with its controls, developed so one could play horizontally with only one hand.
Nowhere Prophet (iOS)
A two-dimensional, post-apocalyptic roguelike that features a turn-based combat system inspired by card games. In the game, the player leads a group of wanderers who are traveling through a destroyed world in search of the mythical Crypt – the last save haven that is also an enclave of technological advancement.
Romancing SaGa 3 (iOS)
Romancing SaGa 3 is a remastered version of 16-bit Japanese RPG. The game offers a turn-based combat system and eight main characters to choose from, each with a different campaign and unique side missions.
