How to unlock the quest: through conversation with Ixil.

Quest giver: Ixil (point 11 on the map).

Ixil

The native called Ixil can be found in the central part of the village (point 11 on the map). During the conversation you will be given the opportunity to deliver provisions (Delivery of Provisions) to Baraka, who guards the Western gate to the Forbidden Valley.

Note - Ixil is also an ability trainer.

Speak with Baraka.

Reach the gate located to the North-West from the village (point 15 on the map) and initiate a conversation with Baraka. During the meeting, you will be given to choices to react accordingly. If you tell the truth, that it was Ixil who prepared the food, Baraka will immediately sense a trap and will be able to tell that the food was poisoned. If you lie to him, telling him that the food is a gift from the women of the village, Baraka will consume the food. Fortunately, the native won't die as a result of poisoning. Go back to Baraka the next day and speak with him again. Regardless of your approach, Baraka will want to get revenge on Ixil, and you will unlock a side quest associated with it.

Rewards for completing the quest:

• 300 Glory Points (only if you lied about the source of the food)
• 100 Gold (only if you lied about the source of the food)
• 200 Gold (only if you have said the truth about the source of the food)
• Unlocked the side quest called "The Reckoning"
