Risen 3 Titan Lords: Mortimer's Treasure

Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Mortimer.

Quest giver: Mortimer (point 3 or 7 on the map)

Helping Mortimer is the best way to find the treasure

You can unlock this quest in two different ways. The first one is escorting Mortimer to the Inquisitors' camp (point 3 on the map) during quest "A Way Out of Darkness". Towards the end of that quest, you will learn the location of the treasure. An alternative way is to make Mortimer reveal the treasure location, still while staying at his camp (point 7 on the map). To do that, you need to select an appropriate dialogue option, murder Mortimer (100 glory points) and examine his corpse.

Note - the other variant is not recommended, because you will then miss the opportunity to obtain more glory points and additional soul points.

The spot where the treasure has been buried

Mortimer's treasure is in the North-Eastern part of the isle (point 3h on the map), where it is easy to reach it, because there is a path leading up to it. In the same way as earlier, watch out for the monsters, including various spiders. Take the rope bridge and find the red X mark on the ground. You need to use the Shovel her, to dig up the treasure. open the chest with 500 gold pieces inside, among others.

Note - If you do not have the Shovel on you, you can search for it around the game world, or buy it from someone.
