Risen 3 Titan Lords: Become a Voodoo Master

Unlocking the quest: Talk to Hirutu.

The quest giver: Hirutu (point 10 on the map)

Note - This quest becomes available after you join the Natives!

Hirutu instructs you what to do in order to rank up in the Natives hierarchy

This quest is unlocked after you join the Natives. The objective is to rank up from a Voodoo Pirate to a Voodoo Master. In order to do that, you first need to meet Hirutu the chief, in the center of the Village (point 10 on the map). The chief tells you that in order to rank up in the Natives hierarchy, the hero has to do all the tasks given by Tenya.

Note - From the moment you join the Natives you can learn magic spells and other abilities from Hirutu.

Tenya stands near the chief (point 10a on the map). She wants the Nameless Hero to prove himself at voodoo magic. BEFORE you go searching for the three people mentioned by Tenya, make sure that the hero has Craft Spells proficiency from Magic category unlocked. This is vital, as it is necessary to complete the quest. If you have not yet learned the proficiency, you can unlock it e.g. with Tenya's help (the picture above) - it costs 2,000 gold, but does not require any main attributes to be developed.

Note - Go through all dialogue options, while talking with Tenya. One of the topics concerns bringing the woman all Quartz you find. Regardless of the type of Quartz you have, you will get 20 gold and 5 Glory Points for it.

Note - From the moment you join the Natives, Tanya can teach the hero voodoo magic spells.

Red uses voodoo magic against the Nameless Hero

One of the three characters you have to meet is pirate Red, who can likely be found on the east side of the pirate beach (point 7 on the map). Approach Red to start the meeting. It is going to have an unexpected ending, as the protagonist blacks out and goes back to full strength only after a couple days later.

Cunningham, Bones, and Tenya are explaining the situation to the hero

You have to talk to three characters about your physical condition. First, talk to Cunningham (point 5 on the map), who helped the Nameless Hero after he got "confused". Next, meet Bones, who may be following the hero or waiting for him on the currently used vessel. Finally, go back to Tenya in the Natives Village (100 Glory Points), who will give you the Potion of Oblivion. All the three conversations suggest that Red used voodoo magic against the Nameless Hero to temporarily take control over his body. Finding the pirate is your next objective.

Note - In order to finish Red's quest, you have to travel now to Tacarigua island, so use a boat and go to the Side Quests - Tacarigua chapter. As for the remaining stages of this quest, you have to meet two other characters on Antigua and Taranis islands.

Give Tenya the report about all three situations

Go back to Kila only in the final part of the quest, namely, after you have done business with Red (Tacarigua), Emma (Antigua), and Abbas (Taranis). Report Tenya (point 10a on the map) about all three endeavors. As a reward, you will get 18 Jades, 5 Gold Ores, 3 Pearls, and 1,600 Glory Points. You can now go to Hirutu and ask him to promote you to a Voodoo Master.

Note - From this moment you can learn new voodoo spells from Tenya.
