How to unlock: Talk to Drake (Calador).

Quest giver: Drake

Attention - This quest is available only after you join the demon hunters!

Talk to Rumold

You started this quest during your stay in Calador, after meeting Drake in the Citadel. One of the parts of this task consists of visiting Taranis to search for two out of five Books of Evil. After reaching Taranis, you have to first locate the books. Talk to Rumold, who can be found in the port (number 3 on the map). You can earn his help in three way:

• Pay Rumold 300 gold.
• Use Intimidate (80). It will allow you to lower the price to 200 gold.
• Use Silver Tongue (80). It is the best variant, as you won't have to pay at all.

No matter of how you choose to behave, Rumold will need about one day to locate the books. Use a bed at least once, to make the process quicker. Return to Rumold the next day and listen to what he has to say (50 glory points).

You can collect the books in any order, but it is advisable to start from the one located in the southern part of the map. After reaching the shore, jump into the water and swim to the island shown on the picture above.

Enter the cave and talk to Brian

Start exploring the island, avoiding or eliminating the monsters. You have to reach a cave located in the western part of the island (number 20a on the map). In the cave, you will see Brian, who is the owner of one of the Books of Evil. He won't give you the book until you deliver him a few mussels.

Attention - don't waste your time on attacking Brian, as you won't obtain the book this way.

A mussel for Brian

Leave the cave and start to collect Squidgy Mussels that can be found nearby (number 3b on the map). You have to gather three of them, but watch out for the monsters that may not always be easy to defeat. When you have all the mussels, return to Brian and trade them for a Book of Evil (300 glory points).

Talk to Gordon

Make your way to the mage camp located in the central part of Taranis. After reaching the place, explore the eastern part of the camp and find smith Gordon (number 12c on the map). During your conversation with him, ask bout the books, which will make Gordon tell you about Stanley's weird behaviour. Then, buy Stanley's Key Chest from Gordon, for 100 gold.

The chest that you're looking for

Stanley's chest can be found at the back of Gordon's house (number 3c on the map). Open it using the key and take a Torn-out Page out of it (50 glory points). Return to Gordon with the piece of paper and talk to him.

You can either intimidate Stanley or defeat him in a fight

Gordon will suggest that you meet with Stanley. He can be near the smith's house or in some other part of the camp. Talk to Stanley about the page that you've found. You can now act in three ways:

• Ask him to give you the book. This will end in a fight. Perform a melee attack at the beginning and it will prevent him from using ranged weapon. After defeating Stanley, you will earn 150 glory points.
• Use Intimidate (80) to make Stanley give you the book. You will avoid fighting him.

No matter how you choose to act, you will obtain the Book of Evil and 300 glory points.

Attention - If you choose to fight Stanley, be careful not to attack any other people nearby, as it may cause them to attack you.

Attention - If you haven't finished the part of the quest on Antigua yet, you have to go there now. Otherwise, return to Calador with all five books and give them to Wilson.
