Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Mortimer.

Search for the campfire at the big mead

In the central part of the isle, you should notice a small encampment that neighbors a mountain slope (point 7 on the map). Reach the encampment and talk to the elderly sailor Mortimer. You can listen to the man's entire story and receive a Ruby or ask him for an abbreviated version. Towards the end of the meeting, there appears an opportunity to complete a short quest of escorting Mortimer to the Inquisitors' encampment on the isle.

After you confirm that you want to start the journey, head towards the Inquisitors' camp (point 2a on the map), by going Northwards first and then taking a turn to the West. Depending on how well you have cleared the area, you may need to eliminate several monsters along your path, like e.g. Scavengers and Snappers. After you reach your destination, this quest ends and you will unlock a new quest connected with the treasure hidden by Mortimer.

Rewards for completing the quest:

• 200 glory points
• Unlocks side quest "Mortimer's Treasure".
