How to unlock the quest: through conversation with Walker.

Quest giver: Walker (point 25 on the map).

It's worth to weaken the golem whenever it targets your allies.

This quest can be given to you by a hunter named Walker, but only after you've completed the "Destroyed Camp" side quest. Meet with Walker in his encampment (point 25 on the map) and express the desire to embark on another hunt. Follow Walker to the West, reaching a Terrifying Golem lair after a short while (point 25 on the map). It's a very durable monster, so don't be discouraged if defeating him will take you some time. It's important to dodge golem's attacks, especially his powerful ground slams. It's best to attack the monster whenever he is targeting your allies. Don't overdo your dodges and don't prolong the fight, to not cause the premature death of Walker. After you've won the encounter, speak with the hunter and plunder the lair.
