We are less than a month away from selecting the winners of The Game Awards 2021, which will be held on December 9 and will be broadcast live via Twitch or YouTube, among others. This is the list of the nominated games. In the lead are Microsoft and Bethesda, who together can boast a hefty number of 20 nominations. Sony came in second with eleven, followed closely by EA and Square Enix, each with a chance for ten awards.

Capcom and Nintendo have seven nominations each. Ubisoft, Riot Games, Sega, Devolver Digital, and Annapurna Interactive got five each. The legendary Valve, Bandai Namco and Ember Lab, on the other hand, have to settle for just three nominations this year. Cyberpunk 2077 was nominated in two categories.
