Its story has been set in a distant future and focuses on the activities of Axiom corporation, which finds the first alien civilization after years of searching. However, the station that was sent to establish contact with the Aliens has malfunctioned, and a prospector (the player character) is sent to investigate the case. What he will discover will change his view on surveillance, imperialism and morality. Gameplay in The Station is based on exploration and plot, with classic narration being limited to minimum. This means that the players discover the plot not through dialogues or cutscenes, but mostly through their environments, and they must bring all pieces of a puzzle together.

Princess Maker Refine was created by Japanese studio Gainax, supervised by one of its co-founders, Takami Akai. You play as a hero, who already defeated the dark lord and saved the citizens of the kingdom invaded by the villain. The protagonist decided to settle down and adopt an orphaned girl, so that he can not only help with rebuilding the country, but also take care of her future. Thus you have to look after your foster daughter and make sure she has good education and skills, which will have an impact on her adult life. The girl's personality and skills are described with numerical values and statistics, and her daily schedule and what she can learn are entirely up to you. After eight years (divided into four seasons, dozens days each), when she becomes of age, you unlock one of the 74 possible endings, depending on her career path — this is when the girl's skills and experience become apparent. The game features vastly improved visuals and soundtrack, compared to those from the original release.

Hidden Folks is an original puzzle game created by Adriaan de Jongh and Sylvain Tegroeg. Gameplay is based on a simple, although a rather unusual scheme. The game takes place on a dozen or so 2D, monochromatic boards where we have to find all of the targets, which can be characters or specific items. Our search for them is hampered by the necessity to use the game's environment to find some of them (i.e. to find a music fan we will have to turn on the nearby speakers), and the fact that each and every level is filled with objects that will divert our attention. The game offers some clues and a list of items we have to find if we get way above our heads. The visuals and audio definitely make Hidden Folks stand out among other similar games. The game looks as if it was hand drawn by a bored student during a lecture, and almost every element of the game's environment (humans, cars, animals, even robots) have their own unique sounds.

A turn-based strategy game with card game features. The title was developed by Spiritwalk Games. The player is taken to a fantasy world that was almost completely destroyed by a magic disaster. All that remained of the world are islands floating above the center of the planet. Above the islands there are shards of the old realm – when one of them falls to the ground, humans gain access to ancient treasures and artifacts. The players assume the role of scouts who try to take advantage of these opportunities to gain riches and fame. The gameplay in Shardbound focuses on battles fought with manually composed deck of cards. The cards enable the player to summon units and activate various spells. After playing a card, a warrior appears on the battlefield. He is controlled like in classic strategy games. The victory is determined by the battle potential of units, shape of the territory and obstacles on the map. The title was developed with multiplayer battles in mind and it is fully integrated with Twitch. This enables the players to watch and stream PvP duels, sign in for matches with famous streamers, send them decks for review, participate in special tournaments and help player’s idols in conquering territories.

A farming simulator developed by a German studio – Masterbrain Bytes. The gameplay revolves around running a farm, which requires the players to prove their skills in many agricultural fields. Because of the realistic weather system, on has to tend to sowing, soil fertilization and the crops’ condition – if, during a longer period of drought, one does not irrigate their crops, they will wither in an instant. In order to handle the virtual farm in the most effective way, the players have to learn how to operate agricultural machinery (the vehicles implemented herein are counterparts to machines of such makes as Claas, Horsch, Dammann, and Mercedes-Benz). This is not easy – the bed’s condition affects how these vehicles behave. Animal husbandry, on the other hand, forces the players to take care of the feed, tidy the farmhouse, and prevent diseases. Luckily, with time the players are able to employ workers, who handle some of the responsibilities and at the same time gain experience, becoming even more efficient. Those among the players who are new to this kind of simulation games can make use of a number of facilitations and adjust the difficulty level according to their preference. Apart from the single player campaign, Cattle and Crops offers a Sandbox Mode - in which one can manage his farm with no limitations - as well as a multiplayer mode allowing players to work together.

Our task is to find him and learn the truth about his role in the whole operation. Attentat 1942 offers a complete adventure game experience, consisting of conversations with encountered characters and demanding minigames. The individual events are shown through comic book recaps mixed with rare audio recordings and role-playing features starring real actors. As a result, the game mixes a number of narrative techniques into a coherent experience, further reinforced by dialogues written thanks to a thorough input of professional historians.

Gameplay mechanics are very much similar to those we will find in FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer series. We lead a football team and play more and more matches. We will be responsible for football transfers, developing the skills of our players, and healing their injuries. Matches are accompanied by a commentary similar to that from TV sports broadcasts. The game offers both single player and multiplayer modes. Real Football 2017 has quite good 3D visuals. We can change the camera angle during the matches and while watching replays.

When the titular Gentleman learns about the count’s evil intentions, he starts a race against the clock in order to stop the wedding. Gameplay of The Gentleman is based on Quick Time Events (QTE). The player needs to press the right buttons, which makes the hero move to the rhythm of jazz music.

The Disney Afternoon Collection contains the following titles: DuckTales (1989), Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (1990), TaleSpin (1991), Darkwing Duck (1992), Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (1993) and Duck Tales 2 (1993). All titles were remastered and adapted to modern gaming platforms. They offer various modern graphic filters and are working in native 1080p resolution. The developers have also introduced new game modes, such as Boss Rush and Time Attack. It is also possible now to rewind the action when the player dies or faces some other difficulties in the game. The fans also have access to bonus materials like artworks and concept arts.

Paranormal Activity: Lost Souls is a first-person horror adventure game. It was developed by VRWerx and based on the Paranormal Activity horror movies. We play as a person who got stuck in a haunted house, just like the characters in the movies. To survive, we will have to discover the house's secret and find out what creatures want to kill us. Gameplay in Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul is based on the standard formula used in many other horror adventure games. During our adventures, we mostly explore the haunted house and solve simple riddles and puzzles to push the story forward. Fear is an inseparable element of the game. It can be struck into our us in many ways: by the automatically moving objects, by the disturbing sounds coming from many places, or by the classic jump scares. We will have to pay much attention to the battery supply for our flashlight. Without it, we won't be able to see anything. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, but its visuals are rather mediocre in terms of quality. However, the game's audio deserves to be mentioned, as it builds the suggestive and dreadful atmosphere of Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul.

An independent action RPG with adventure game elements, inspired by such series as The Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls. Decay of Logos puts you in a fantasy world where family feuds of the royalty cause numerous problems to the rest of the realm. The player assumes the role of a young woman whose village gets destroyed by unidentified invaders wearing royal emblems on their armors. Being the only survivor, the girl seeks revenge and goes out into the world together with her companion Elk, a mysterious creature resembling a deer. While observing the action from the third-person perspective, you travel through a semi-open world, search for valuable items, and establish relations with NPCs. During exploration, you need to solve numerous environmental puzzles – reaching different places requires cracking more or less complicated puzzles, finding a key, or cooperating with your friend. The title features arcade combat in which the heroine uses both melee weapons and magic. Decay of Logos stands out from the crowd thanks to its atmospheric, fairytale-like style.

A mobile installment in the popular series of action games. The action of the series takes place in Middle Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Era. The player can select from 48 warriors inspired by historical characters and face hordes of enemies in various battles. Despite the fact that the combat system is purely arcade, the characters have unique weapons and special attacks. The title also includes simple strategy features like army development and promotion of generals. In addition to a story campaign called Conquest Mode, which can be played alone or in cooperation, Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offers many other modes. Skirmish contains single battles for up to four players; Raid is a multiplayer mode focused on stealing valuable objects; War Supply is a strategy mode in which the player takes control of mines and gathers items; Boss Fight is a modified campaign focused on fighting bosses (alone or with other players). Similarly to the console and PC installments of the series, the title features high quality graphics. However, in this game the action is presented by using isometric perspective.

Save Jesus is a 2D puzzle game inspired by the life of Jesus Christ, but telling a completely unknown, fantastic story. It was developed by Almighty Games. A crook from the future impersonates Ceasar and intends to use his power to kill Jesus and his friends. Our job is to prevent that from happening. Gameplay in Save Jesus focuses on manipulating the environmental elements in a way to change the course of a rolling rock aimed at Jesus and use it to kill roman soldiers instead. Maps are made of squares symbolizing patches of ground (we can remove them with a single click to create a path for the murderous rock) and are filled with moving elements (i.e. log) and other stuff, e.g. explosives. Even though Save Jesus is a low budget game, its rather simple visuals have no negative impact on its playability.

An original RPG with elements of roguelike; it was developed by an independent developer Andrew Morrish. The player is taken to a relatively unusual fantasy world, but what distinguishes Kingsway among other similar games, are the very unusual gameplay mechanics. The game resembles a simplistic operating system and the entire action takes place in several different dialogue boxes (the player can customize them). For instance, traps and enemies are presented in the form of pop-up windows, equipment is managed through placing particular things in separate folders; as for the quests, information concerning them is given to the player via the in-game email box. Nonetheless, the game's procedurally-generated environment is filled with conventional adversaries; the protagonist represents one of several specialties and they gradually acquire more and more powerful weapons. Additionally, the protagonist's personality is shaped by the player's decisions - this is relevant to the fact that death is permanent in this game.

Unusual independent game created by Daniel Mullins for the Ludum Dare 31 in 2014 and then released for the Steam platform. The player directs a character trapped in a diabolic game, and his task is to get out and save his soul. Pony Island stands out mainly due to its gameplay. There are typical arcade sequences in the game, but it is much more important to be able to interfere with the code of a fictional application, which takes the form of simple logical games.

The most prominent feature of the game is the realism – seas and oceans the players get to sail have been designed based on the real data regarding wind velocity and direction, water depth, wave height, and wave energy. The weather conditions featured by the game represent those from the real world. Moreover, the players can use the auto-sail option - as the boats sail with a realistic speed, it might take months to reach the destination. When players are away from the game, they are notified of the cruise’s progress via e-mail. The game also features certain MMO elements: players can invite other sailors to board their boats (the game offers such sailing units as the 38 feet long Cruiser, one-man Mini-Transat or a classic 52-feet long cruise yacht), and create groups to sail the seas and oceans in any formation. When doing so, the players can communicate with each other through the built-in chat. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – sudden changes of weather conditions and detailed water animations are bound to satisfy all sailing enthusiasts.

The Walking Dead: March to War is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer strategy game based on The Walking Dead franchise. The game takes place near Washington, D.C. some time after the zombie epidemic began. We lead a group of survivors and try to keep them alive in the new, post-apocalyptic reality. In order to do so, we will have to expand and upgrade our base, manage our resources, and complete missions. We will also have to find and recruit other survivors. Each of them has their own story, personality, and abilities which we can level up. All deaths are permanent, so losing a high level survivor can be painful. The so-called Council system plays a crucial role in the game. The Council is made of characters we know from the comic books. Each of them is a skilled survivor, making them great leaders of mission squads. It is almost impossible to achieve victory by playing by ourselves. The Walking Dead: March to War forces to create alliances with other players in order to defeat common enemies.

Developed by Darkflow Software in cooperation with Gaijin Entertainment, Xenos vs. Marines is an online FPS game that takes players on a journey to a distant future, in which the human civilization has reached the level of development allowing for the colonization of remote planets. The main protagonists of the game are the titular Space Marines, tasked with preparing planets for the arrival of new settlers. During the game, one participates in consecutive battles against the Aliens, having a wide variety of futuristic technologies at their disposal, which include weaponry, armors, and other useful pieces of gear. The gameplay has been based on mechanics known from another game created by the aforementioned studio – Enlisted. Since the Aliens are not the only threat and the players have to face many dangers resulting from numerous anomalies encountered on the surfaces of uncharted planets, the key to success lies in the strict cooperation between the players and the good coordination of actions performed by the members of one’s team.

As the title implies, the players take on the roles of Kirbys, who participate in team battles with boss enemies threatening the Dream Kingdom. The team can consist of up to four players, and to win you have to cooperate with others and make use of your strengths. There are four kinds of Kirbys to choose from (Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore and Beam Mage), and every one of them has their own unique abilities. One Kirby can be physically strong, while the other heals his companions. When your team succeeds, you earn experience points, which increase your stats. Moreover, the resources you collect during the game can be used to craft new equipment. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe features microtransactions — to participate in battle, you need Vigor points, which renew automatically over time, but they can also be bought for Gem Apples, the in-game currency sold for real-life money. Gem Apples can also be useful when you want to continue the battle right after losing. The currency can also be earned as you play by participating in Heroic missions or visiting the Bandana Waddle Dee's tree.

At the beginning, we choose one of the five available characters (each of them has their own biography, character, skills, and equipment). As we play, we will explore those worlds, make difficult decisions, contact alien races, fight with enemies, and solve logic riddles. We will also have to make journals of our discoveries and search for artifacts that grant us access to special powers and new technologies.

Urban Trial Freestyle 2 is a sequel to the well-received arcade game developed by the Polish studio Teyon Games and published by Tate Multimedia. Like in the series' previous installment, we play as a biker stuntman who beats various obstacle courses. This time the challenges take place in locations like roofs of skyscrapers or streets filled with ramps and launching pads. As we progress through the game, we will unlock access to technical and visual modifications of our bike. Urban Trial Freestyle 2 has two game modes: Stunt Mode, where we have to jump as high as we can and execute difficult stunts, and Time Attack where we have to be the first one to finish the race. We can share our scores through online rankings. The game features eye-pleasing visuals and comes with a level editor that allows us to create our own maps.

Aporia: Beyond The Valley is a first-person exploration adventure game developed by the Dutch studio Investigate North. The game takes place in a mysterious Ez'rat Qin valley that once was the home of a great civilization. Now, only ruins remain there. Our hero wakes up after hundreds of years of slumber, suffering from amnesia. His task is to find out the truth about himself and his old world's past. We observe the game from a first-person perspective. Gameplay focuses on exploration and gathering clues that will help us find the answers to our questions. The game emphasizes riddles and puzzles. Many times we will have to figure out how a certain mechanism works or find a way to avoid or neutralize a trap before will be able to solve one of them. The game is rather nonlinear and the plot is told visually, so we will not hear or read any texts or dialogues.

An adventure game featuring elements of the so-called walking simulators and developed by the independent studio Act 3 Games. The protagonist - Stanley, is a man whose past is unclear to the player. The plane he had been using to travel with his wife crashed on a frozen island near the coast of Iceland. The two survived the crash, but end up separated. The protagonist's goal is to reach his wife who is trapped in the wreck that is located on top of a mountain. Also, Stanley has to remove any evidence that could reveal their identity or their secrets to a rescue team that is heading towards the crash site. The player explores the snow-covered wild lands and collects notes from Leonore's journal - those contain pieces of information concerning the characters' past. Furthermore, the player often solves environmental puzzles (thas how you overcome obstacles and other difficulties encountered on your path). Survival elements play a crucial part in The Fidelio Incident, as the player has to make sure that Stanley gets warm by a fire or thermal waters regularly - otherwise he can end up freezing to death. The experience is complemented by high-quality visuals.

Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a sequel to the 2014 arcade game Mighty Gunvolt that was released on Nintendo 3DS. Both games were developed by Inti Creates, 2D action games specialists. We play as the titular Gunvolt, a hero who can control lightning and uses that ability in his fight against evil. He is aided by the ghost of a girl name Joule who lives inside our protagonist, providing him protection in critical situations. Mighty Gunvolt Burst is a 2D side-scrolling action game with platformer elements similar to the fan-favorite Mega Man series. Gameplay focuses on exploring more and more locations, jumping on platforms, and fighting with many enemies. In comparison to the series' previous installment, the game comes with some visible improvements, like new collectibles, character progression system, or a special Final Blow that gives us more experience points when we use it to finish our enemy off.

Developed by a small independent studio The Young Socrates, Odyssey: The Next Generation Science Game is a logic adventure game with many educational values. In the game, the player follows the story of a girl, who along with her father, who is an archeologist, and the rest of the family were imprisoned by pirates on one of the Caribbean islands. In order to face them, the heroes decided to build obstacles on the island to stop the pirates – these obstacles, however, could not interfere with the rescue mission launched by young scientists. The player assumes the role of a daredevil, who, after hearing a radio transmission broadcasted by Kai, decides to stage a rescue operation for the stranded family. The players observe the action from the first-person perspective, and the gameplay builds on exploration and puzzle solving. During the game, one might not only prove their basic knowledge of physics, mathematics, and astronomy, but also familiarity with over two thousand years of history of these fields of study. The entire experience is enriched with an original hint system that allows the players to learn along with the main protagonist.

The story focuses on Carl, whose beloved June died from injuries she sustained in a car crash. However, thte protagonist discovers that he can use June's paintings to travel in time. From this moment onward he decides to change the course of events and save his lover, while also bearing the consequences of his choices. The gameplay in Las Day of June consists of exploration of varied locations and finding places where you can change something — from time to time it means that you have to solve a relatively easy puzzle or make a decision which will affect the later events. Apart from the unique theme, the game also features unusual artistic visuals.

Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels is the second big DLC for Forza Horizon 3 developed by Playground Games. This time, the players can take part in races where they will drive Hot Wheels cars on crazy, twisted tracks. These are filled not only with launching pads, but also with speed boosters and spirals. The DLC comes with a new mini-campaign (including special challenges) and a dedicated location made of six islands connected by a network of roads. In Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels, players can drive the following vehicles: 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill, 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod, 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang, 2016 Jeep Trailcat, 2016 Zenvo ST1, 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38, 2010 Pagani Zonda R, and 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49. An adventure game with horror features, focused around exploration and with unusual visuals. The work of Introversion Software’s team delivered a title set in a system of underground caves and corridors, wrapped in utter darkness. With no flashlights or torches of any kind, we can only navigate using laser-scanning system LIDAR, which displays our surroundings as three-dimensional shapes formed by sparkling points. We do this by pointing a handheld laser – when the rays reflect from an obstacles, the system analyzes them, calculates their position and draws a shape of our surroundings. This image is displayed in a helmet worn by the protagonist. The system designed by developers has many functions that help us orient ourselves during exploration of caves. Those include: addition of color gradient in space depending on how far the points are from the player, the ability to change width of the scanning beam and map mode that shows every scanned and drawn corridor. The labyrinth explored by us hides many secrets, from common wonders of nature (like caves of stalactites and stalagmites) to ruined buildings of ancient cultists.

The players assume the roles of heroes, who defend humanity from Titan factions waging war against one another. The journey begins with the character creation – the player can choose sex, appearance and combat stats of his protagonist. The gameplay builds on open world exploration, completing quests assigned by NPCs, fighting encountered foes (including huge bosses), and developing the main protagonist’s skills – all this in the typical MMORPG way. During the game, the players also acquire new items, enchanted scrolls, and pieces of armor, which aid their characters in battle. Traveling through the vast locations can be sped up by obtaining a steed. Both pets and friendly players can help us in battles. On the other hand, however, some players can also challenge us to a duel – the winner gets the equipment of the fallen hero.

The story in the game is set in 2029 - the world now belongs to big corporations that intend to expand their sphere of influence by hook or by crook. During the game, the player assumes the role of a freelance hacker tasked with stealth infiltration of the opponents’ headquarters and completing various, not entirely legal assignments. Hacktag stands out in terms of its original gameplay mechanics developed for an asymmetric, cooperative multiplayer mode – the player actively participates in carrying out the mission, while their partner helps them by hacking numerous devices and elements of the environment. As the story progresses, both characters acquire experience points that unlock access to new abilities, both active and passive. To top it all, the contents of the game are 100% procedurally generated.

The whole thing can be pleasing to the eye due to its pleasant graphic design and catchy soundtrack.
