The plot focuses on two brothers who, despite their differences, do everything they can to save their sister who is chased by the Devil himself. Gameplay is based on a day-night cycle. During the day, we have to gather resources, set traps, and build reinforcements. All of this is required to resist the werewolves, ghasts, wendigo, possessed animals, and other creatures that attack during the night. Gathering experience allows us to level up our skills.

Crusader Kings II: Sword of Islam features an extended map that reaches as far as to Mali states and introduces a hundred historical events to enrich the game, such as the frictions between Shiites and Sunnis and pilgrimages to Mecca.
