Another main boss of Wuchang Fallen Feathers awaits you at the Corpse Pits. It's called Reborn Treant - Soulwood. It has some unique mechanics, such as pulling Wuchang closer. Reborn Treant - Soulwood in a nutshell

1. Soulwood can suck in air, pulling Wuchang closer towards itself. This attack doesn't deal any damage by itself, but if you're near a pool of blood, you'll start getting inflicted with Despair. If you're fully inflicted, you will die instantly.
2. The enemy also deals fire damage, so it's recommended to equip items that neutralize Despair and Burn, as well as good armor that protects you from them.
3. If you get caught on fire, dodge in any direction. You'll get rid of the status much quicker this way.
4. The Reborn Treant is flammable. If you have the opportunity to set it on fire, you should do so.
5. Its projectiles, which form rootstalks after a short while, leave small flowers behind. Walking onto them is crucial, as it will grant you Skyborn Might, which can be used for spells or weapon skills.

Reborn Treant - Soulwood's attacks

How to fight Reborn Treant - Soulwood?

Make sure to keep moving. If the boss attacks with its hands, it's better to move away so the attack won't reach you. If it starts sucking in air, run away in the opposite direction as quickly as possible. In case of a fire attack, it's better to stick to the sides of the arena.

The best moment to attack the boss is when he attacks with his hand, as it will get stuck for a moment after he attacks. Another good moment is when Soulwood uses the fire attack, as you are safe on its side and can hit its face.
