The Reborn in a Nutshell
- The Reborn is vulnerable to Burn status and fire damage. It is worth equipping Flame Temperance, especially since the boss has a lot of health. Thanks to this skill you will be able to deal more damage to him.
- The enemy deals mainly Blunt damage, so it is worth equipping yourself with armor that protects well against this type of attack.
- The Dracolich Pendant Amulet is very important in this fight because the boss roars often. Without the amulet equipped, you will be stunned frequently.
- We recommend using the Longsword skill called Infernal Firebrand against this opponent. It inflicts a lot of Burn status and deals a lot of damage. Mainly because the boss is very large - the skill's animation ends with a spray of fire projectiles. If they hit, each of them will severely damage the boss. This also applies to Dragon Emperor.
- The boss's posture can be broken. Doing this will allow you to perform an Obliterate attack. You then have to approach the boss's head, because that's where his weak point is.
The Reborn's attacks
- Three paw strikes - the boss can start striking from above with his paws alternately.
- Claw attack - the boss can perform several sweeping attacks that are performed horizontally.
- Blood projectiles - The Reborn will raise his hand, create a large ball of blood, and then projectiles will rain down around him.
- Ice shatter - the boss will slam his fist into the ground and create an icy floor in a large area in front of him. After a while, he will shatter it, dealing even more damage.
- Roar - occasionally, the opponent will start roaring. This can stun your character if you don't have the Dracolich Pendant equipped.
How to fight The Reborn?
Equipping the Dracolich Pendant is crucial, as the Reborn frequently uses a roar that stuns. By wearing this amulet, you shouldn't have too much trouble fighting this opponent. Most of the boss's attacks are hand strikes that go in a straight line. However, sometimes he can perform a horizontal attack, so it is better to stay close to him, sticking to his side.
By using the Longsword - Infernal Firebrand skill, you will quickly inflict the Burn status on him. Subsequent attacks will cause him to take increased damage for a short period of time. What's more, you'll be able to throw him off balance much faster and land a powerful critical hit to the head.
When using ice shatter, it would be a good idea to use spells that have a built-in dodge. This attack is not easy to avoid and has a large range and damage. Therefore, when you see the boss clenching his fist and hitting the ground, use, for example, Burning Flames at the moment of impact.
The boss doesn't have much HP, so the fight shouldn't take long. Next, you will fight an improved version of the boss, the Dragon Emperor.
Dragon Emperor - Zhu Youjian in a nutshell
- Like the Reborn, Dragon Emperor is vulnerable to fire. However, he has more HP, so defeating him may take a bit longer. Therefore, the Burn status is suitable for this fight due to the increased damage taken by the boss.
- The Dragon Emperor has a large ball that can nullify the effects of any offensive spell. Therefore, using spells of this type is pointless. If you must, use defensive spells.
- Dragon Emperor fights with a sword, so a high defense against Slash damage is recommended.
- The boss is able to deal damage and heal himself when he glows orange. You can interrupt this move by attacking him with strong attacks. You can also move away from him so that he doesn't deal damage to you. Despite this, he will then heal for a certain percentage of the damage taken.
Dragon Emperor - Zhu Youjian's attacks
- Giant ball - the boss will always start with this attack. The ball travels at a slow pace, but when it hits the ground it will continuously attack over a large area for a short period. After a while, there will be another large explosion.
- Blades from the ground - Dragon Emperor will slam his sword into the ground, creating multiple swords around him.
- Projectiles - the boss will attack with his sword from a distance, then create projectiles in the form of slashes.
- Life steal - Dragon Emperor will begin to illuminate the surrounding area in orange. It deals continuous damage if you stand in it. Moreover, the boss always heals himself during this attack.
- Wave of bloody flames - using the orb, the boss can create a wave of bloody flames in front of him, which will explode after a short while.
How to fight Dragon Emperor - Zhu Youjian?
In general, your tactics shouldn't differ significantly when fighting this boss. Once again, you will have to stick to his side while applying the Burn status to him. The problem is that now he has a lot more area attacks that can still hit you. Therefore, you need to be more careful and focus more on dodging.
Remember not to use any offensive spells, as the boss will simply absorb them into the ball and nullify the effect. Spend Skyborn Might on weapon abilities, which will be much more profitable. Also attack in quick series, especially after boss attacks.
When the boss starts healing and creating an orange aura, despite having two options, it is better to stand there and deal continuous damage to the boss. With Temperance Flame, you can easily inflict Burn status on the enemy. You do have to keep an eye on your health, though, because although the attack doesn't deal much damage, it does so continuously until you interrupt it. With this solution, you should be able to deal more damage to him than he can heal.
