A side-scrolling platformer based on classic premise and created as a result of a cooperation between the independent Fully Illustrated studio and the Darkwind Media company. The player is taken to 120 AD, when the forces of the Roman Empire invade the southern part of Britain. The player assumes the role of a fearless warrior by the name of Caradok, who decides to face the attackers on his own and violently ask them to leave. The player will explore eight extensive levels set in different environments, such as ancient forests, mountain streams, or Roman defense walls. The protagonist moves to the right throughout the game, eliminating hordes of enemies using a sword and a shield, as well as his fists and head. The visuals are slightly caricatural and cartoonish; the visual style features exaggerated character models and a large portion of brutality.

The eight major installment in one of the most popular economic strategy series that launched in 1993. This game was created by Blue Byte Software for the Ubisoft company. The new edition features significantly altered gameplay mechanics, because of the introduction of RPG elements. When you are not building your settlement, you take part in hack-and-slash story-driven sequences, where you control a team of heroes belonging to different classes and fight your opponents, conquer new lands, and gather valuable items and reputation points necessary to expand your city. On the other hand, the economical layer went through little to no changes. New production lines were added, as well as the ability to improve buildings thanks to new technology trees. Your settlement stays with you from mission to mission, so you do not have to build it from scratch each time.

The continuation of the console hit titled Afro Samurai, based on a manga written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki. The indie studio Redacted, established by David Robinson, the co-creator of the original game, is responsible for the development of the production. The storyline involves a completely fresh story, focused on the character of Kuma. During the playthrough we have the opportunity to play the roles of several, diverse characters, including Afro, who was also featured in the previous installment of the production. When it comes to the mechanics the game, it is still a rather typical hack’n’slash, which revolves around brutal and spectacular duels, fought with deadly, samurai weapons. The continuation does not lack in the terms of standard elements of the series, including platformer elements and an advanced combat system, which allows the player to perform extremely impressive moves and precise sword strikes. The visuals have been kept in the same style as those of the predecessor, however, unlike in the original Afro Samurai, the sequel allows us to enjoy the game in co-op mode.

Age of Empires: Castle Siege is a spin-off of the best-selling Age of Empires series. Castle Siege is a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions. The game was developed by Smoking Gun Interactive, creators of many mobile games and Kinect games for Xbox 360, under the watchful eye of Microsoft. Castle Siege is set in medieval times, and the players can choose one of the few historic factions to play as. The game's mechanics are rather different than those from the regular Age of Empires games. Age of Empires: Castle Siege has two primary gameplay aspects: the economic one, focusing on gathering resources, castle's extensions, and technological development; and the strategic one, which requires the players to attack other strongholds, controlled either by A.I. or other players. Multiplayer, which allows PC and mobile gamers to play together, is the core of the gameplay. However, Smoking Gun Interactive also created a single player mode, in which the players can play out a multiple mission campaign, and single scenarios inspired by famous historic battles.

The main differences that remain are: the controls, adjusted to mobile devices, and visuals, which seem to be smoother and more colorful in this edition.
