Baldurs Gate 3: Closed chest - Nautiloid puzzle solution

Where is the chest?

1. Elaborate Reliquary is one of the first locked containers found in the game.
2. To find it, you need to reach the northern room of Nautiloid. This is the same room with the console with 3 buttons and persons held in pods (we describe the pods on a dedicated page (Prisoners in pods - Nautiloid).

Where is the key to the reliquary?

1. You cannot open the chest with lockpicks - a key is needed. Make your way to the eastern room, which exploration is entirely optional.
2. Locate an interactive corpse - one of them will have Gold Key on it. Once you got it, return to the container. Open the chest - the hero will automatically match the key.

Contents of the chest

The Elaborate Reliquary contains:

1. gold'
2. Onyx - a valuable stone that can be sold to a merchant later on.
