Set in a fairy tale-like world, Toren is an action game developed by Swordtales, an indie studio from Brazil. We play as a princess who was imprisoned in a tower, and our job is to escape. That task may not be as easy as one might think. We will have to face many obstacles, from platform elements to battles with various tough enemies. However, a flying dragon-like creature is our biggest opponent here. It tries to keep us inside the tower. Toren's plot structure is built like an epic poem, which also tells the story of a knight who journeys through a desert to reach the same tower in which our princess is imprisoned in. The game brings up some serious subjects, like the meaning of life, or the unforgiving flow of time.

Valiant Hears: The Great War is an original action-adventure game that takes place during the World War I. It was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, creators of best-selling platform games Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. The game's plot is based on authentic letters from the WW1 period and tells the story of five heroes who were were brought together by the war and... a good-willed dog that can influence the fate of people. Among our heroes we will find a French captive, an American enlistee, a Belgian paramedic, an English pilot, and a German infantryman. Gameplay differs depending on which character we are currently controlling. We will have to solve riddles and puzzles, explore, and face some arcade elements. Even though the game's atmosphere and setting are a bit grim, Valiant Hears: The Great War tends to be a bit humorous. We will also find many stereotypes about the nationalities of our heroes in the game. Game's visuals are comic book-like, "hand drawn" to some degree.

A cooperation-oriented action game created by The Amiable – a studio founded by five students learning at a university in Chicago. The game is set on a distant planet, which gets attacked by mechanical insects. Bizarre creatures inhabiting the planet decide to stop the intruders, but their only weapon is vitality they share. Formed in an energy stream, it strikes the enemies. Up to four players can meet in the game and each one assumes the role of one such creature. The goals they share are to stop the alien attack and activate four elements of a defense system, which are located in different places on the map. What makes the gameplay difficult here is the fact that using the weapon reduces vitality. Although vitality can be regenerated over time, teamwork and uniformity in energy use are crucial for victory here.

What is also worth mentioning, is the game's character development system (which is based on skills learned alongside progression), and a complex and demanding combat system. Furthermore, both NPCs and players can give quests. Chronicles of Elyria offers both the PvE and PvP components. Obviously, the player is capable of founding guilds and making alliances as well.

Mechanics-wise, it is a combination of arcade rail shooter and a third-person action game. While playing, we control the heroes by running, jumping, rolling, and so on, and try to aim at enemies in the back of the level. A party game that uses VR headsets. It was developed by Ubisoft Red Storm, a studio founded by Tom Clancy, a well-known writer. The action of Werewolves Within takes place in a fictional medieval village of Gallowston whose inhabitants are terrorized by a werewolf that stalks the area. The gameplay mechanics are based on the rules of Mafia, a popular party game. The players assume the role of randomly assigned characters, and their task is to determine — thanks to deduction and discussion — who is the werewolf. The beast, in order to avoid detection, can lie and persuade other participants or form secret pacts with them. The village’s inhabitants have to master special skills that make detecting a werewolf easier or, alternatively, make it possible to ally oneself with him and fool the others. Werewolves Within offers colorful, slightly cartoonish graphics in the medieval fantasy style.
