Cyberpunk 2077: Can you unlock Militech Basilisk?

On this page of the Cyberpunk 2077 walkthrough you will find out if you can add the Militech Basilisk Panzer tank to V's garage. It is a unique, military armed vehicle which appears in several side jobs in the game.

As a reminder, the Militech Basilisk is a military vehicle that can be compared to a Panzer tank. The machine is equipped with a strong cannon capable of effectively attacking targets. It also has defensive means which can be activated in an emergency.

An important feature of the Basilisk is that the vehicle doesn't touch the ground directly, but instead levitates slightly above it. This feature has almost no downsides. The tank performs much better in the field and you don't have to be worry about collisions with boulders or being slowed down by uneven ground.

The Basilisk appears in Panam's side quest line. Panam is a mercenary you meet as part of the main story line. The Basilisk is tied to the following side missions:

1. With a Little Help from My Friends - There is an opportunity to ambush the Militech convoy carrying parts of the Basilisk.
2. Queen of the Highway - V can sit at the helm of the reassembled tank and test the Basilisk in combat conditions.

Unfortunately, you won't get to use the Basilisk during the open world segments of the game after completing Panam's quest line. You won't be able to drive the tank despite the fact that it will be stationed in the new Nomad Camp. One can only suspect that programming the ability to drive a tank on the streets of Night City resulted in too many issues.

There is a chance that the Basilisk or other military vehicles will appear in downloadable content for Cyberpunk 2077.

You can use the Militech Basilisk again if you choose Panama's Ending, which we described in more detail in the Endings section. You will get to use the Panzer tank on several occasions during the game to dispose of enemy troops.
