Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Divine Messenger

Divine Messenger is one of the shorter, more linear quests in Kingdom Come 2. You will play as Father Godwin. This quest is full of long conversations, during which you will not be faced with any important decisions or skill tests. How to get to the ambush site?

As Father Godwin, you must reach the ambush site where the bandits slaughtered von Burgow's people. Go to the nearby barn and talk to the severely injured hired hand, Kuba, to find out what happened at the mill. Next, head towards Nebakov, to the mission marker. You will ride the same trail that von Burgow's company took. On the way, you will encounter looters robbing bodies - get past them without interfering, this way they'll let you go without attacking you.

Eventually, you will reach a mass grave, where you will all be attacked by looters after speaking to Erik, the bandits' boss. Help the bandits defeat the thieves. Be careful - Godwin seems to not know the Master Strike technique, which you may already know as Henry, so attempting to use it could result in a quick death. Except for Master Strike, he knows all the sword strike combinations available in the game.

How to free Henry and Capon?

After the fight, Erik will agree to take you to the leader, Zizka, to negotiate the release of Henry and Capon. Follow him - Erik will offer you a race to Nebakov. It doesn't matter whether you win or not, but at the very end of the race, you can go off the track and drive straight up the hill to the fortress to win. You are in for a long conversation with the boss, which will be interrupted by a rebellion outbreak. Help Zizka eliminate the rebels; they shouldn't cause you too much trouble.

You will return to playing as Henry. You have several long conversations ahead of you, first with your arch-enemy Istvan and then with Zizka. After calmly explaining the situation to each other, Henry, Capon, Godwin, and Zizka will finally determine that they're all on the same side, i.e. against von Burgow, and will form an alliance. This will complete the quest.
