Similar to the first part, in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 you can use the services of trainers - special characters who, for a fee, will increase your statistics in a given skill or teach you new abilities. On this guide page, we have gathered a list of the most interesting NPCs, who will significantly speed up the development of your character.

All skill trainers

On the above maps, you will find all the skill trainers available in both regions. If you are interested in detailed maps of Trosky and Kuttenberg, be sure to check out our interactive maps.

How do skill trainers work?

When interacting with a trainer, you will see the dialogue option Can you tech me something?. The NPC will then present the set of trainings they offer, which you can access.

It may happen that before using the services of some trainers, you will have to complete their storylines or side quests.

Lessons with trainers are divided into four levels, differing in price. These are:

  1. Basic - 100 groschen;
  2. Apprentice - 500 groschen;
  3. Journeyman - 1500 groschen;
  4. Master - 5000 groschen.

Each level provides you with a correspondingly larger amount of experience points. Certain trainers teach specific skills at certain levels. As the plot progresses, you will encounter more and more NPCs training at Journeyman and Master levels.

Once you take a lesson from a given character, you will not be able to repeat it (however, you can take a lesson of another skill from the same NPC, if they offer it). The same skills are often taught by many trainers, so you can simply go to someone else.

Some trainers can also teach you completely new moves and abilities that you can use during fights or exploration.

Increasing your skill level unlocks perk points, which you can use to unlock useful perks. You can find more about the perks on the Best perks page.

Tomcat (Trosky)

Tomcat is an NPC hanging out next to the arena in the nomad camp in the Trosky region. He is able to train you at a basic level in the use of a sword, heavy weapons, and polearms. You can also learn the secrets of advanced melee combat here. However, what is very important, Tomcat can teach you very useful combat moves. Additionally, he will do it completely for free. You can find more about him on the page How to perform a master strike?.

Pavlena (Trosky)

Pavlena is the daughter of the herbalist Bozhena, whom you meet in the prologue of the game. After completing the quest associated with her, Bad Blood, the girl can teach you a few useful skills at a basic level. These are:

  1. Marksmanship;
  2. Thievery;
  3. Survival;
  4. Stealth;
  5. Alchemy.

Bartosch (Trosky)

You will meet Bartosch near the arena at Trosky Castle during the Necessary Evil quest. The warrior can teach you a few interesting combat techniques, used with various types of weapons.

Hansel (Trosky)

This is an unusual teacher because you can learn from him during the Materia Prima side quest received from the miller Kreyzl. He teaches thievery.

Blacksmith Radovan (Trosky)

You will meet Radovan early in the game, as he is connected to the main storyline. The blacksmith will not only show you the basics of forging weapons, but for a fee, he will also enhance your skills related to craftsmanship.
