To continue the main storyline of Kingdom Come 2, you must complete one of the two side storylines. Completing any of them will allow you to get to the wedding related to the next main quest. On this guide page, we described how to complete all of miller Kreyzl's tasks, how to steal the confiscated document, find the saltpeter pit, and prepare Enneleyn for the wedding.

Go to the mill near Semine and ask the miller Kreyzl for a job. He will hire you to carry sacks and provide a private quarter in the attic right above his bedroom. Start moving the sacks of flour to the cart standing in the yard. After moving the sixth sack, you will discover the miller's secret and you will be hired for more ambitious tasks.

Time for a theft training. Talk to the miller's assistant, Hansel, and follow his instructions. He will teach you pickpocketing and strangling people while hiding (you may have to try many times - strangling often ends in failure even if you do everything right). Also remember about lockpicking training. Practice on the chest in the same room - there are a lot of lock picks inside that you can take.

If you need more tips on lock picking, you will find them on a separate page of the guide.

Your main goal is to break into the town hall in Troskowitz and steal the confiscated document. You should steal at night. By doing an optional meeting with the assistant indicated by the miller, you will know exactly where to look for the document. First, however, head to the bathhouse at Zhelejov, where you can steal thief's clothes. You can open the main door with a lockpick (very easy lock), steal a key to the chest from any sleeping employee, then go upstairs, open the chest by the wall using the key and steal the outfit from it.

The document you are looking for, written by Hermes Trismegistus, is located in the basement of the town hall. You can enter there through the front entrance or the external staircase, north of the town hall (there is a guard next to the stairs, so you have to stun him or distract his attention by throwing a stone). Once you are in the basement, enter the open prison cell. Under the bunk, among the hay, lies the key to the chest. Open the chest in the central room of the basement to get the document, then escape through the front doors or the stairs outside. Return to Kreyzl with the document to complete the task.

Note - this quest seems to have a troublesome bug in the release version. Even if you have not been noticed or identified by anyone, during your next visit to Troskowitz you may be detained by the guards for theft. If this happens, they will confiscate all stolen items, and force you to stay in jail or pay a fine of about 300 groschen.

Your next task is to locate the pit with saltpeter for the miller's alchemical experiments. Head south from the mill, to the thieves' hideout and talk to Bonnie to get information. You have to give her any herb first - there are plenty of them growing along the way. She will direct you to the gravedigger Ignatius in Troskowitz. On the way, stop by the butcher's and buy a piece of meat. Give it to Ignatius so he will agree to take you for the body collection in the morning. You need to meet him just before dawn - around five or six in the morning.

Get on the cart next to Ignatius and talk to him along the way. Soon you will come across an abandoned farm, from where you have to take the deer's carcass. The body is in a closed building - go around the building, passing over the wooden fence. Enter through the open window, take the carcass, open the door from the inside and take the carcass to the cart. When you reach the cart, you will have to calm down or fight with a few locals who mistook you for thieves (10 Speech was enough to convince them). Load the deer onto the cart and move on.

At the next stop, you have to load the carcasses of two pigs onto the cart. There is also an optional objective here - discovering what killed the pigs. Head to the stream nearby and go up the river (ignore the quest marker here, it shows you the wrong place). You will quickly come across deer carcasses contaminating the water. Explain to Ignatius what happened and move on.

Your next task is to secretly kill a dog. Ignatius will give you some meat, poison, and a potion that makes it easier to care for animals - he wants you to soak the meat in poison and throw it to the dog. When you go to the dog's enclosure, however, you will discover that the dog has escaped. Follow the barking to meet Bonnie, who stole the dog from the cruel owner. You can either let her take the dog or chase her away and poison the animal. We recommend letting the dog go - you will then be able to keep the poison and use it another time, and Bonnie will not hate you. The gravedigger will be furious with you, but the consequences are not serious at all.

Although you can deceive the gravedigger and convince him that you killed the dog as he ordered, the conversation seems to contain a bug - the gravedigger believed us, but he was still furious with us.

You will finally reach the hole with saltpeter. If you completed optional objectives, Ignatius will give you very good thief gloves - he will do it even if he is angry with you. Go down and taste the saltpeter. You have to go back to the miller now - if you angered the gravedigger, you will have to go back on your own. Talk to Kreyzl to complete the quest.

Before the miller takes you to the wedding, he wants to recruit a woman to seduce the chamberlain, so that you can steal a certain book for him. Go to the bathhouse near Zhelejov and talk to the owner. None of her employees will agree to the plan, but they will direct you to the nomad camp in the west, where you can meet the courtesan Enneleyn (talk to the horse trader if you can't find her). She agrees to the plan, but first she will require three items: perfume, wine, and a dress.

  1. The game suggests that you should steal Mintha Perfume from the innkeeper in Troskowitz, buy it for 499 groschen, convince the innkeeper to give it to you, or buy the recipe from the pharmacist and make it yourself. A much simpler and not marked by the game option, however, is to go to the bathhouse next to Zhelejov. The owner of the bathhouse has these very perfumes on offer for sale for just 24 groschen.
  2. You can buy good wine from the innkeeper in Troskowitz for just a few groschen.
  3. The appropriate dress, namely the Tyrol brocade cotehardie, is sold by the tailor Bartoshek in Troskowitz. You can steal it or buy it for 245 groschen.

Once you have collected all the items, return to the nomad camp and give them to Enneleyn. You can now go with the miller to the wedding - get yourself a fancy outfit (clothing with a high charisma parameter) from the tailor in Troskowitz and talk to Enneleyn when you are ready to continue the main plot.
