Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: How to get a horse Pebbles?
In the prologue to KCD 2, Henry loses his faithful horse, Pebbles. From this page of the guide, you will learn where to look for the missing mount and how to convince the trader to return it.
Pebbles is Henry's horse, on whose back the hero travels through medieval Bohemia. After the events of the prologue, the steed however disappears without a trace. Lack of a horse significantly hinders movement around the extensive map. On this page of the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 guide, you will learn where to look for the lost animal and how to recover it.

After the events of the prologue, Pebbles was caught by a mysterious man. Then he ended up in a stable at the estate near the village of Smine. The stable is located in the southern part of the map of the first region.
You will receive information about the stable from the beggar woman right after leaving the pillory or during the storyline of the blacksmith from Tachov. However, nothing prevents you from going straight to the stable in Smine right after the end of the prologue.
Talk to the man dressed in green standing next to the enclosure - his name is Ballatay. When asked about a cheap horse, he will reveal to you that a mount was recently found and brought to his stable. Henry will recognize Pebbles.
You can buy the horse from the stableman (it costs 150 Groschen), but a much better method would be to convince him to give you the animal for free. From our experience, it turns out that the best option is to use persuasion. The stable boy is quite easily persuaded and gives up the animal without much resistance.
Pebbles is now yours again. You can summon it to you with the appropriate button (X on the keyboard), and also stash some of the carried equipment to the animal (you will find the appropriate key at the bottom of the equipment screen).
Along with the gray horse, you will also receive a simple saddle and bridle. Put them on your mount in the appropriate tab in your inventory.

Horses differ in statistics such as endurance or carrying capacity. If you decide that you need a better mount than Pebbles, you can always purchase a new animal in one of the many stables. However, prepare for a significant expense - the cheapest horse at Ballatay's costs as much as 900 Groschen.
