The Devil's Pack is a main quest in Kingdom Come 2, consisting of several smaller objectives that will lead you through the entire Kuttenberg. Your mission is to find and recruit former comrades-in-arms of Dry Devil. On this guide page, we described where to find and how to recruit members of the devil's pack.

Where to find Bohuta?

You will find Bohuta near the church in the Grund village. When you talk to him, you will find out that he has converted and has no intention of returning to a bandit life - you can't change his mind. However, you will find out from him where to find another member of the gang, Ranyek. Bohuta asks you to pray with him for his deceased brother. If you are kind and pray with Bohuta, he will give you a treasure map leading to his buried loot. If you keep pressuring him to return to robbing, provoke him or unsuccessfully try to correct his prayer (Scholarship - Difficult), the man will fight you and then tell you to leave.

Where to find Ranyek?

The innkeeper in Pschitoky will tell you a story about Ranyek. He will direct you to Bylany, where he used to play dice - talk to the players in front of the local tavern. They will offer to take you to Ranyek - to avoid problems, convince them to first tell you what happened to Ranyek (Speech - Medium). You will find out that Ranyek owed them money, tried to escape through the latrine and drowned in feces. You can now end the search - or pull him out.

If you allowed the players to lead you down to the dung pit behind the inn, you will have to pay them (700 groschen), convince them (Speech - Medium, Dread - Hard), beat them up, or fish out Ranyek and give them the bow looted from the corpse.. Put on the worst clothes you have and search the pit - Ranyek lies quite close to the inn's wall, next to a large green spot in the lake of waste. Pick him up, take him to the shore and search the body. If you have settled the matter with the other players, you can keep the bow - it's excellent. Find a tub nearby and take a bath.

Where to find Adder?

The innkeeper in Pschitoky will tell you about Adder - he will guide you to Eva, the butcher's wife. You can persuade her to provide more information through a Charisma check (Medium). You will learn from her that her husband unjustly accused Adder of having an affair with her and took him to a nearby tree to lynch him. Head east from the village to save Adder.

If you want to save Adder without bloodshed, you must convince the butcher to let him go (Might - Very Difficult, Dread - Difficult, or Charisma - Medium). If you have learned the truth from Eva, you can explain to the butcher that nothing happened between them. This will unlock an easier set of persuasion options (Charisma, Speech, or Drinking - Medium).

Adder will eventually hang - you have to cut the rope from the tree before he suffocates. If persuasion was successful, you have a free hand, and if not, you must cut the rope while being attacked by the butcher and his hired hands. Immediately approach the rope wrapped around the tree and press the interaction button to cut it and save the Pole. After everything, Adder will ask you for a weapon - don't give it to him or he will attack the butcher. You will also find out from him where to find Janosh.

Where to find Janosh?

You will find Janosh shackled in the stocks in the courtyard in Miskowitz. He seriously injured a local, Loyza, who now has two days to live left - if he dies, the bailiff will hang Janosh. If you want to resolve the situation peacefully, you will have to heal the wounded and pay a fine for Janosh. If you are not able to do this, you will have to release Janosh quietly - open the shackles at night when there are no guards around. Use a lockpick (difficult lock) or steal the key from the guard or the bailiff.

Talk to the bailiff and ask him for permission to treat the injured. Investigate Loyza (Alchemy and Craftsmanship - Medium). You will have to bandage his wound, and more importantly, bring him a potion that will allow him to breathe despite his broken ribs - Buck's Blood. You can buy it from the pharmacist in Pschitoky. When you cure Loyza, pay the bailiff a fine of 500 groschen, and he will give you the key to the stocks. Release Janosh and send him to the Devil's Den.

Where to find Matthew?

Talk to the bailiff in Miskowitz. You will find out that Matthew and his gang are attacking people on the road between Miskowitz and Suchdol. Go that way, and you will find him - he is standing on the road near the destroyed cart. Talk to him - it's impossible to convince him to return to the Dry Devil. Eventually, Matthew will try to rob you - you can pay him 1,000 groschen, bargain, convince him to not do it (Speech - Medium, Dread - Hard, Dread - Medium if you found out about the reward for Matthew from the bailiff) or kill him and his gang.

While fighting Matthew, try to reduce the enemy's numerical advantage as quickly as possible. Matthew is quite dangerous, but his people are pathetically weak and poorly armed - they can still overwhelm you though by attacking from all sides. Retreat and move to the sides, trying to lure the weaker members of the gang closer, then eliminate them. Don't get flanked - if any of the enemies disappear from your sight, sprint a little to gain a distance. When only Matthew is left, watch out for his attack combinations and unblockable attacks (marked with a red shield icon). After defeating Matthew, take the valuable book from his body. You can read it (it will increase your Scholarship) and give it to the bailiff in Miskowitz in exchange for 275 groschen.

How to drink with The Devil's Pack?

When you find all the members of the gang, return to the Devil's Den and talk to the Dry Devil. The reunited comrades-in-arms will invite you for a drinking party, during which you will have the opportunity to pass the Drinking skill check (Hard). If you don't succeed, Henry will have a hangover the next day. Talk to the Dry Devil once more to complete the quest.
