The quest opens with Henry being carried by Hans Capon. Choose any dialogue options while watching the visions that the severely injured Henry is going through. Eventually, you will reach the herbalist Bozhena's cottage. After the cut-scene, you will wake up the next day - this time it's Hans who needs your help. First, however, you need to fully recover. Open your inventory and use four bandages to stop the torso bleeding. Next, approach the hearth and eat some goulash from the pot to satisfy your hunger - you can eat whenever you want. Then go out of the cottage to the yard. There lies the corpse of a bandit killed by Hans - search him, take and put on his clothes, and also take and equip the sword lying on the ground next to the body. Lastly, go to the tub of water and wash yourselves.
Talk to Bozhena. She will ask you two favors - gathering herbs for a medicinal brew for Hans and burying the bandit's corpse. The burial is an optional goal, but you should absolutely do it first. Take the shovel leaning against the fence next to the bandit's corpse, then lift the body. Leave through the main gate and take the bandit up the path to the north. Several meters further there is a patch of soft ground where you can dig a grave. Put the body on the ground, dig a hole and bury the body, then return to Bozhena.
Next, head down the path to the south, behind the cottage. It leads to the top of the hill, where you will come across a meadow. Gather some rosemary and chamomile - feel free to collect more than you need, these herbs will come in handy later.
After collecting the herbs, return to the cottage. In the yard, you will encounter two bandits harassing Bozhena - they will talk to you as soon as you approach. If you didn't bury the body, they will attack you immediately. Otherwise, you will have a chance to make them leave by using persuasion - respond politely to the bandit's provocations to start a conversation. Do not admit to being messengers and choose the Speech option - this way we managed to trick the bandits and convince them to leave. In case of failure, you will have to fight both enemies at once - strike them a few times with the sword to force them to flee. Lastly, talk to Bozhena.
How to prepare a medicine for Hans Capon?
Time for an alchemy tutorial. You need to make a chamomile broth - follow the instructions given by the game. First, you need to pour wine into the cauldron, add two handfuls of chamomile and bring the liquid to a boil for the length of one hourglass turn, after which you have to remove it from the heat. Next, grind a handful of rosemary in a mortar and add it to the pot, then pour the broth into a bottle. At first, alchemy can be a bit awkward - if you've gathered more herbs than necessary, you can create more potions. They will come in handy later and you will gain some experience. Give the created broth to Bozhena and go to bed.
The next day, after a short conversation with Bozhena's daughter, go outside and sit at the table with Capon and your saviors. You can talk here about the adventures you experienced in the previous game. After breakfast, you will automatically give Bozhena the spade back. Talk to Capon to continue your journey and complete the task.
Soon, after unlocking the open world at the end of the Laboratores quest but before going to the wedding in the Wedding Crashers mission, you will be able to return to the herbalist's hut and pay Bozhena 150 groschen for her help. Although it is not associated with any in-game rewards, you will receive "A Knight’s Word" achievement in return.
