While traveling through the forests of medieval Bohemia in KCD 2, you will certainly encounter packs of aggressive wolves more than once. Fighting off these predators can be quite troublesome, but fortunately there is a fairly effective way to deal with them. On this page of the guide, you will learn how to fight wolves.

How to fight wolves?

Wolves are seen most often in dense forests. They usually hunt in groups of several individuals. Their strategy is based on surrounding the victim and nibbling at their legs. In a dangerous situation, they can also quickly move away.

They don't inflict too much damage, but in a larger group they can easily gain an advantage over Henry. To prevent this, it is worth implementing a few simple strategies.

The wolf's attack has a fairly clear animation, which, combined with the green shield on the target, makes it possible to parry the attack quite efficiently. When you do this, the animal is temporarily pushed away. This is the perfect moment to deliver one or two quick blows.

The wounded wolf will temporarily retreat, but another one will quickly take its place. Observe which predator is the closest and be prepared for their attack. A few successful counterattacks and blows should knock down the aggressive animal.

A severely injured wolf will most likely try to escape. However, it will often still be faster than you. If you want to kill it instead of just scaring it away, it's worth using a bow or crossbow.

Apart from that, keep in mind that Mutt can also be a huge support while fighting wolves. Once you manage to get the dog back, you can give it commands during fights (hold down the X button to tell it to attack). The dog will then knock down the wolf, giving you a chance to attack.
