What are fox dens?

1. Fox dens are inhabited by friendly animals that will lead the protagonist to various interesting places.
2. Following the animal will most often reward you with a new Charm or a story bit.
3. While following the fox, try to avoid fighting or straying from the path. If you lose the fox, you'll have to start the entire sequence over again.
4. Some foxes can be petted.

All fox dens in Yotei Grasslands

There are 3 fox dens in the Yotei Grasslands region.

1. Grassy Hill Fox Den - you'll find it near the northern passage between the regions. The fox will lead you to an abandoned camp with a note and a trapped NPC. Help the person and continue following the fox. Soon, you'll reach an altar, where you'll find the Charm of Brutal Volley.

1. Flowing Water Fox Den - the western edge of the region. Follow the fox and cut down the bamboo along the path. Beneath the altar, you'll find the Charm of Assassin's Resolve.

1. Lake View Fox Den - south of Lake Shikotsu. Destroy obstacles along the way with the grappling hook. At the phalanx, you'll find the Charm of Uncanny Aim.

All fox dens in Tokachi Range

there are 2 fox dens in the Tokachi Chain region.

1. Whispering Woods Fox Den - the central part of the region. On the way to the altar, you will have to destroy obstacles with the grappling hook and defeat several enemies. At the altar, you'll find the Charm of Swift Reward.

1. Warm Plains Fox Den - on the way to the altar, the fox will stop at places where useful plants grow. At the end of the path, you'll find the Charm of Archer's Fortune.

1. Clear Water Fox Den - a den near the river. The fox will lead you to the Charm of Generous Opponents.

All fox dens in Teshio Mountains

There are 2 fox dens in the Teshio Ridge region.

1. High Wall Fox Den - travel to the northern part of the region and defeat the fox-hunting Ronin. The rescued fox will lead you to the Charm of Lingering Shadows.

1. Winding River Fox Den - the central part of the region. On the way to the altar, you'll need to destroy stone obstacles with the grappling hook. Bow to the statue and you'll receive the Charm of Opportunity.

All fox dens in Ishikari Plain

There are 2 fox dens in the Ishikari Plain region.

1. Fire Fox Den - follow the fox and use the grappling hook to clear the path of obstacles. At the end, you'll find the Charm of Resolute Victory.

1. Twin Path Fox Den - follow the fox and you'll need to squeeze through several narrow passages. At the end of the path, you'll find the Charm of Enduring Resolve.

All fox dens in Oshima Coast

There is one fox den in the Oshima Coast region.

1. Blushing Forest Fox Den - north of Matsumae Castle. At the end of the path, you'll find the Charm of the Prepared.

Inari's Cunning Mask

The Inari's Cunning Mask is an item that you receive as a reward for finding all 11 fox dens. Head to the Sanctuary Grove location in the western part of Teshio Ridge. Speak to the woman sitting in the building to receive the mask and the Guardian of Inari trophy.
