Where is the maze?

1. You'll encounter the maze while exploring the Abandoned Tominaga Estate. You’ll need to start at the Mysterious Gate beside the estate, where you’ll meet Ugetsu and hear the story of the general and his daughter. The unique armor is the main reason to visit Tominaga Estate.
2. The maze entrance is in the northeastern corner of the estate grounds, where the path will lead you to the Misty Valley Bamboo Strike. You won’t be able to start bamboo-cutting mini-game right away. You have to complete the maze first.

How to solve the maze puzzle and the Misty Valley Bamboo Strike?

1. The maze always offers several possible paths, but only one path is correct. Picking the wrong path will send Atsu back to the central area without progressing the puzzle.
2. Solving the puzzle is simple – red lilies mark the correct path. Keep a close eye for them - the maze can be pretty dark - and follow the path where the red flowers grow. After stepping into the mist, Atsu will return to the Bamboo Strike area and must once again follow the path marked by red lilies. You must do this a total of three times.

1. After correctly following the path three times, the Bamboo Strike becomes interactive. You can complete the activity the usual way by quickly inputting the displayed button sequence.

Rewards for completing the maze

1. Complete the bamboo strike to receive a key - one of four you need to open the large gate at Tominaga Estate. It will lead you right towards the boss fight against the general and the Spider Lily Armor.
