Ghost of Yotei: Where are the flowers of forgiveness?
Flower For Your Thoughts is one of the side quests in Ghost of Yotei that requires you to collect three blue flowers. On this page of the guide we described where to find the blue flowers of forgiveness.
Blue flowers of forgiveness are the objective of one of the side quests in Ghost of Yotei – A Flower For Your Thoughts quest available in the Tokachi Range, which you can begin at the Ohara Plains Burial Site. The quest seems simple and only requires collecting three flowers – however, finding these flowers can be more challenging, as they only grow in one specific location. On this page of the guide, we've described where to find blue flowers of forgiveness.
How to reach the top of the waterfall?
You'll begin the quest at the Ohara Plains Burial Site, on the western border of the Tokachi Range region. A wooden pole with a message hanging on it is stuck into the ground in this area. Reading it will start the quest.
To obtain the flowers of forgiveness, you must climb to the top of a nearby waterfall. Behind the message that begins the quest, there's a linear climbing path that leads to the top of the mountain. Ultimately, it will lead you to the Amber Respite Shrine (if you've already visited it, you can skip the climb by fast traveling there). The path to the top is identical to the one you'll take or have already taken during the penultimate story quest, Call of the Hunt.
Once you reach the top, you must slide down two slopes behind the shrine. After the second slide, you'll find yourself right at the top of the waterfall, where the flowers you're looking for are growing. Blue flowers of forgiveness are hydrangeas - you need to collect three of them in this area. They look identical to other, more common flowers and are collected in the same way.
How to find blue flowers of forgiveness?
The first hydrangea grows under a protruding rock, right next to a smaller waterfall.
The second hydrangea grows right at the edge of the massive waterfall you're currently at.
The third hydrangea grows behind the trees near the top of the waterfall.
After collecting all the flowers, you can climb onto the wooden beam protruding from the chasm and jump off the waterfall into the water. Atsu will land right next to the pole where you found the message that started the quest. Place the flowers under the pole and speak with the newly arrived NPC to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive the Charm of Lingering Affliction, which prolongs and enhances the negative effects you inflict on enemies, such as burning and poison.
