Where is the Black Night Duel Ring?

1. Defeating Black Night Kubo is one of the bounty hunter contracts. The easiest way to learn about it is by visiting Kojiro at the inn in the Teshio Ridge region. The place of the duel is in the eastern part of the region- as shown in the attached images - a snow-covered arena at the edge of the forest.

How to unlock the fight with Black Knight Kubo?

1. In the arena, you can find a message left by Kubo. Interacting with the wooden blocks should theoretically trigger a mini-boss encounter, but it's also possible that nothing will happen.

The solution to this problem is quite simple - Atsu must be wearing black armor. This can be either armor that's entirely black or one with a dominant black color. The color of your armor can be changed with a dye. Unlocked dyes can be checked in the inventory screen when selecting an outfit.

Examples of "correct" color variations include:

1. Prey's Scent for the Bounty Master Armor - a large part of this dye is red, but black is considered the dominant color in the game.
2. TGrave Maker for the Armor of the Undying.

1. Potential issues with obtaining the black dye can be resolved by visiting the location Black Dye House, which is located in the western part of the Teshio Ridge region. The merchant in this location specializes in black armor dye and other black equipment. You should easily find something for the armor you plan on using in the fight against Kubo.

How to defeat the Black Night Kubo boss?

1. Meeting the above requirements should make Kubo appear after interacting with the wooden blocks in the arena, and after a short exchange, you can begin the fight.
2. Kubo himself is not a particularly challenging opponent. Use dual katanas to attack him. The boss can perform one or two blue attacks, which are relatively easy to parry.
3. The enemy may start using a shield at some point, and you should then switch to the kusarigama – this weapon can remove Kubo's shield and force him to revert to his default equipment.

1. Loot the defeated boss to obtain Black Night Kubo's Mask. Additionally, be sure to return to Kojiro to collect the payment (750 coins).
